The Ozark Media Arts Festival will focus on the youth of Arkansas, encouraging the digital mediums and arts to flourish in the hearts and minds of Arkansas students by providing pathways to employment and a means of funding for after school and summer programs, a mentoring program and venue for young artists to show and perform their work.
Ozark Media Arts Festival 2019 is pleased to be hosted by the Arts Center of the Ozarks located just one block South of Emma Street in Downtown Springdale.
Located in Downtown Springdale, Arts Center of the Ozarks has been providing and making arts for the last 50 years. We’ve introduced thousands of people to live performance. Many others have been inspired by art classes, performed in plays and shared their art on the gallery walls. This non-profit arts organization offers a diverse range of programming, a home to artists and arts organizations to showcase their work, and engages people of every age and background to create a vibrant and cohesive community.
Making great entertainment and creative educational opportunities possible for all ages has been our mission since 1967.
We opened our doors in mid August 2017 as NWA most epic Wedding and Event Venue. The historical, once Apollo movie theater, has been completely remodeled with a classical 1940’s art deco appeal. There are marble floors and counters, ten crystal chandeliers, an elegant foyer with the original statue of “Apollo”, a breathtaking cocktail lounge that has 20 foot ceilings and a 15 foot vintage mirror, dating back to the early 1800’s.
